It felt so republic yesterday! Since childhood, the celebration of independence day or republic day was very monotonous, school or college speeches followed by flag hoisting and sweet distribution.

Yesterday, I made a wish to capture the republic moments of our Amchi Mumbai street! Took my DSLR- boarded the fast local from Borivali- got down at Dadar- walked through the street for 2.1km to Shivaji Park area to have my first glimpse of Bandra-Worli sea link.

After this, I again reached Dadar station to board a local train for Church Gate station to explore the street, buildings, and monuments between the Church Gate, Fort and CST station. I walked approx 15 km yesterday but believe me it was just the JOSH (sprit) which encouraged me to do so.

All the above pictures I took with the help of my Nikon DSLR, nearly at 6:00 PM in the evening. Please enjoy the pictures and comment on the same in this blog.

After a street evening walk at Fort Area, I walked towards CST station which is nearly 1.5 km from the Fort area. On the way, I saw an Indian postal office which was lighted in Indian Tri-color.

After reaching the CST station we saw the most beautiful and pride moment for any Indian! CST station, BMC Office (City Corporation) were splashed with the tricolor and thousands of Indians and foreigners have witnessed the moments and captured the same.
